This is for the 27.5x2.8 size MY2018. The MY2018 weighs in around 795-820g. The new, MY2020-2021 in the same size now weighs in at 950g. Both have the same width on my caliper and rolls fast. Just heavier on the scale but I can’t feel the difference when pedaling.I put in about 8 months, 1k miles on my Rocket Rons but only in the rear. Traction is very good in the dry especially on bikes with short chainstays (326-336mm). On chainstays than are long with steep seat angle, the rear breaks traction easily on the gravel climbs, while cornering (no brakes applied) and when the trail is wet. Again, I only feel this on long CS. Short CS, traction is good. Braking for both short/long CS are very good.35mm inner width rims. Knobs at 4.19mm tall. I replace them around 2.1mm. I use huck norris insert, no pinch flats. I also run low psi, 13 at 145 lbs.
