Comparing similar products available - this was the cheapest and yet seemingly the most durable. Installation was NOT as easy as some of the reviews mentioned but with some "tweeking" of the primary attachment mechanism near the truck's bulkhead, it worked. My guess is, several buyers installed this cover UNAWARE they had residual "gaposis" at the cover/bed rail interface and thus did nothing to correct the leaking. The trick in completing a successful install is ensuring the perimeter weather strip seats evenly around the truck bed rail. Very little water entry through a good car wash but some does enter as the bed rail isn't completely flat at the full perimeter. This cover is water resistant, but NOT water proof. This is about 50 pounds and the packaging was VERY poor with the cover being delivered in what seemed akin to a battle scared cardboard box. I didn't lower the rating because in spite of the very poor packaging, the cover was fine - a testament to it's durability. I really like the OEM look. You won't need a painted cover if you with this product because it looks so good.Revision: I have had the product installed for about 2 weeks. I still like it, but the rear clip assembly on both the left and right side ISN'T great. The spring "easy to articulate" attachment pulls are cheap plastic and feel like they'll break off in my hand with regular use. Moreover the spring tension is insufficient to hold the cover down adequately while the vehicle is in motion - I've seen the back pop-up and OFF THE BED RAIL ever so slightly while driving on the freeway. Highway 5 has some brutal crosswinds and that might be enough to tear the cover completely off. I installed some additional C clamps and that resolved the issue.In short - spend the money it is a keeper, as compared with the other models available.
