This is the second bed like this (XL - 50”) I have purchased for my small Great Dane (90 lbs). The zipper on the first bed broke and I had to get rid of it. The fluffy fabric on the previous bed also kept jamming the zipper during removal and replacement for washing. I appreciate that the cover CAN be removed. It’s just more difficult than it should be due to the fabric and zipper itself. HOWEVER, my dog was so excited when she saw it that she ran directly to it and curled right up. I guess I will have to always have one of these beds!Finally my picky 5 month mini Aussiedoodle has a bed she likes!!! Yeay!!This bed is huge and super soft (I got the xl), but I’m actually pretty disappointed with how little support there is in the middle, especially for the price. I know it’s supposed to be a donut-like bed, but the pillow in the middle doesn’t cover as much space as I would like - there are spots that don’t have any cushion and you can feel the floor. I can easily add some extra stuffing to those areas, which I’ll probably do, but I don’t feel like I should have to do that for what the bed costs.We had a barksbar round bed my Doberman LOVES but it sheds and the inside cushions are falling apart. This is more durable and nice. My dog doesn’t love it quite as much,( the memory foam cushion was a big hit with her other bed) but she does like it andthe large is big enough for her (65 lbs) and my toddler to snuggle together and watch a movie.I put this on the floor and immediately my little guy climbed right up on it for a nap... safe to say he likes it! It appears very durable and easy to clean- happy about the purchase!These beds are a favourite at my house among my very picky dogs. They are not that easy to clean and do retain odour so I do recommend adding a protective layer under the outside casing prior to use. They hold up well to heavy use.Best dog beds around, I’ve bought many in past. The zipper is great quality. The bed is sewn well. Our dogs love them. Easy to wash.My greyhound loves this bed! It is so big and soft! The only drawback is that the pillows included are not the best quality and rip open easily. I just replaced them with about 6 or 7 cheap normal pillows. Works well that way and they can easily go in the wash with the rest of the bedding.
